Inspiration from Korean Flag

One evening I was so free at home...and free thinking anything...casually ask to my Korean friend...
What is the meaning of the four symbol in Korean Flag?
Why so many symbols there?

My friend is an elementary school teacher in Yeosu, Southern part of Korea. He reply me like this:

Korean Flag is called "Taegeukgi" Contains of three elements:
1. White is a traditional color of the Korean people, means a clean heart.
2. The emblem in the centre represents the dual forces of yin (blue) and yang (red). The yin and yang balance each other and maintain a harmonious existence by being complementary opposites, positive and negative, active and passive, male and female, night and day, good and evil and so on. Yin is the passive or static mode and yang the active or dynamic mode.
3. The trigrams are elements in the world :the 3 sticks mean heaven the 4 sticks means fire the 5 sticks means water and the 6 sticks mean earth.

I browse for more in Wikipedia, and formerly, Korean flag are more complicated before -_____- !!

Taegeukgi of the Joseon Dynasty (before 1800)
Taegeukgi of the Joseon Dynasty, King Jeongjo (ca. 1800)
Flag of the Joseon Dynasty (Qing Empire tributary, March 1883)
All these symbols are similar to China, so I was wondering is Korea ever been under China rule?
NO, They are under Japanese rule,,,, China also was under Japanese rule.....so the 3 country have similar symbols, similar language (in Japan and Korea, even they use Hiragana and Hangeul, Chinese character also sometimes used too!!)

What I learned tonight about Korean flag is.....BALANCE.........

We have to live in balance.......take and give........physical, emotional, and spiritual.....all must be healthy.....
So many concern in our life. Family, friends, lover, community, colleagues.....treat them well.

If sometimes bad things happen to you, thank God, don't be too sad, there also good things await, be patience in your endurance. Live your life for the "present" times. Yesterday has gone, and tomorrow hasn't come.

There is night....there also a day..
Have a good night, Blessed day tomorrow awaits for you!! :D
