I remember some years ago when I collecting information to visit to Korea:

Everytime I go googling, always ENDS in a blog or website that allllllll written in HANGUL!!! O. M. G!!!
I do love hangul. Can read hangul also, but didn't know the meaning. My vocab was poor! and not helpful at all! I'm frustating. And change destination to another country then. :/
But last year, I was browsing about Korea again, I find such a nice, complete guidance website. And the HAPPY news is: They provide English language, and even some international major mother tongue like Spanish, France, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian. I pretty like this web page:

We must plan the itinerary as efficient as possible to avoid wasting time in the destination.
I always browse carefully before I leave my country. It's very important and my friends always leave everything to me when it comes about travel. I'm such a good planner :D

According to the budget, u can choose from budget hostel in a dorm, or exclusive hotel five star facilities! Visitkorea offer all the information you need. I myself suggest that "Location is the most important" I was staying in a hostel in hongdae area last year. Hongdae area offers a lot of cute designed cafe and coffeshop.
You can also try Hanok stays! They are awesome!!
It's according to your personal prefferences.
This website not only talks about Seoul, but also Busan, Jeonju, Gyeongju, and Seokcho.
If you like shopping, visitkorea offers some duty free shop like Lotte DS, Shilla DS, shopping malls like Dongdaemun, Helloapm, even flea market, and free market :D
If you like adventures, this website also offers Bungee Jumping, Mountain Hiking, Cruise, Horse riding, saunas, bicycling, seeing film location.
For Korean, eat is like a festival! Don't surprised if you get so many kind of side dishes once u go to the restaurant. I suggest you to order samgyetang, kimchi, tteokpokki, kimbap, ramen. You must taste them all, they are not just super delicious, but also super healthy as well since Korean use traditional herbs in making food.
Whether you like Korean Boyband or not, Hallyu or Korean waves are everywhere to watch. Cultural attraction and events are plenty. Amusement park like Everland and Lotteworld are woth visited also.
