Seoul Underground Shopping Center

Trus gimana dong kalo mau nyebrang?
Yahhh lewat bawah tanah......

2. Perhiasan dan jam. Waktu diantara Myeongdong dan Namdaemun sih nyebrangnya lewatin banyak penjual perhiasan emas, tapi ga brani nanya gw kalo emas, mending beli di indo kali ye biar ada garansi toko :p

3.Buku bekas. Ini termasuk yang paling unik. Cuman ada diantaranya City Hall station ama Euljiro-1 ga station. Nomer tokonya 213.

Yuk cari jalan lageeee :)

Resep Kimchi

Pertama kali nyobain kimchi di resto Korea di Semarang, hmmmmm.....sebenernya ga pesen kimchi, tapi emang semua pengunjung disana pesen apa aja dikasih kimchi gratis, dan wow, cocok banget di lidahku. YUMMY!!

Kimchi made by me :D
Bahan-Bahan:

- 1 buah sawi putih ukuran besar.
- 1/2  batang lobak putih, iris tipis memanjang.
- 4 batang daun bawang, iris tipis memanjang.
- 4 siung bawang putih, parut.
- 1 ruas jahe, parut
- 6 sdm bubuk cabe Korea.
- 2 sdt garam dapur(butiran halus)
- 1 sdm gula
- 1/2 gelas garam kasar
- air secukupnya
- 2 sdm kecap ikan

Cara Mengolah:

5 Most Luxurious Korean Souvenir

Wow!! LUXURIOUSSSSSSSSS!!

It was the first word when I received a present from KTO that successfully make my whole day smilinggggggggg ^___^

Then I'm thinking. If I go Korea and want to buy something for special person, what will I buy? What things that should make the receiver feels that they are special person. Here I share my list:

1. DALVIA
http://dalviatown.com/
Dalvia sell interior things, fabrics, najeonchilgi, and stationary. Najeonchilgi is Korea lacquer ware inlaid with mother of pearl. I know how precious is "MOTHER OF PEARL" when I worked in Bali, I learned about pearl, and Mother of pearl is more precious than diamonds. It takes special pearl oysters to produces special nacres to shelled and cover this pearl. And they can only produced naturally, not farmed!
Special color they radiates like rainbow when lights comes to them makes special feelings of luxurious design.

This box below is my present from KTO. I LOOOOVE it so much!!!

Get out your spectacles and take a look at Dalvia’s surprising twist on fusion fashion glasses cases. Using a design based on needle-and-thread cases from the Joseon dynasty, this brand captures the essence of Korean tradition in new ways. Lens cleaner kits, add-on decoration for your smartphone, and fusion compact mirrors are also available. You’ll have a lot of fun talking about these inventive goods when your friends ask about them!

Dalvia produces some of the most exquisite traditional bejeweled and lacquered boxes, plates, and standing art around. As for its fusion goods, I loved the ingenuity of this safe box! Browsing their inventory, one can immediately see the craftsmanship used to create these magnificent items.

Dalvia makes traditional and refined Korean works of art made entirely by hand. The craftsman first grinds conch shells, abalone, and pearl oysters with care. Then, as though etching and engraving light, he fixes them one by one onto another object. After polishing and delicately scrapping the shells, the stunning, natural lights are restored.

This clock below is my wishlist :D

You can also find some stunning mirror like this:

2. LEEJOSHOP
Lee Jo Accessories has designed a creative assortment of jewelry meant for hanbok adornment. However, their beauty transcends their intended ceremonial purposes—these pieces can be worn to many occasions.

I loved the effervescent pink of the jewels used in this metal hairpin. Similarly, it’s easy to repurpose any of their stunning earrings for a night out.

3.HANBOKLYNN
Designer Kim Min-jeong of Hanbok Lynn transforms stereotypical hanbok into breathtaking works of art, fusing traditional styles with modern sophistication. These awe-inspiring pieces could compete with the best of any Western wedding dress. Watch out, Vera Wang!

I also wish my wedding dress will be like this below
Awwwwwwwww me really want! :D

4.SUIN BAG
colorful handbag from the exclusive SUIN“samzzibag” collection. With a variety of vibrant colors, these bags add a noteworthy nod to traditional Korean embellishment using colorful, time-honored macramé tassels and polished button fixtures.

5. UZ JEWELRY
346-31 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul  02-332-4858
The current accessories collection by custom jeweler UZ plays with geo-shapes in a bold way. My favorite is the hollow pyramid styles in both necklace and bracelet lengths. Select your choice of black and silver, black and gold, or multi-colored metallics.

Next door to UZ (right), original metal jewelry, crafts and designs are offered at Ardor. This exclusive shop features handmade metal wall art in addition to stunning rings and charms. I couldn’t take our eyes off distinctive pieces such as the four-sided precious gem bands, and an Egyptian-cat black stone ring!!! So specially designed by UZ.
So unique and one of kind will be unforgettable souvenir!

Well , I know, souvenirs like keychain, Korean magnets, fans, fancy gift, car accessories or mobile phone strap even skincare are common souvenirs from Korea and I bought them too for my friends. But if you really want someone really feeling special upon receiving your souvenirs, those list above hopefully can help and must be unforgettable.

Good luck ^^

WOW Korea Supporter

WOW Korea Supporter!
WOW! Sounds great eh?

Membaca tagline nya "Sebarkan virus demam Korea melalui jaringanmu." Weeewww!! Gw banget sih Korea. Selama ini gw nyebarin Korea sih lewat cerita2 aja, cerita drama2, lewat forum femaledaily, wg, lewat ngubrul-ngubrul ngalor ngidul ama temen2 travelling ^___^ Sekarang suru nyebarin lewat sosial media, well, such a good challenge for me!! ^^ Apalagi kan gw emang demen banget browsing korea, mempelajari segala sesuatu tentang Korea, dan sempet ke korea sempet ke Korea sekali waktu winter, sempet sekarat juga saking dinginnya, tapi waktu balik, kangen hawa dinginnya koreaaaaa, hwakhakhhakhahahaaaakk :ppp *disambit kimchi
Apalagi kan emang misi gw experience Korea dalam 4 musim *semogatercapai

Dag dig dug......
Mampu ga sih gw? Siapa gw emangnya? bukan siapa2..:(  gimana saingan2 gw? Apa gw cukup berpotensi menjadi penulis?
Well balik ke tujuan utamanya sih...

*amin
Gw prefer using English sih, karena mostly orang Indo bisa Inggris, kan bahasa yg gw pake juga bukan bahasa tingkat dewa. Dan gw berharap pembaca gw bukan cuman orang Indonesia, jadi universal *ceilaaah.

Senengggggggggggg banget tulisan gw dibaca orang !!
Liat overviewnya mostly sih masih orang :
1. Indonesia        273
2. United States   75
3. Rusia               43
4. UK                 32
5. South Korea    21
6. Malaysia          11

Meskipun blog gw jarang yang komen, minim orang2 blogwalking uda seneng akunya, terimakasih ya semuanya yang uda baca blog aku ^___^ *inget diri sendiri juga sukanya jalan2 di blog tanpa komen apapun :p

Korea, be inspired

Gila airportnya gwedeeee bangetttt!!! It's better than MALL, hoohoo!! bayangan gw pasti tersesat nih di airport kyk jaman ke Hongkong kemaren , buakakakkaakkk =))), ternyata nggak loh!! hebat banget, informatif banget, petugasnya ada dimana2 ramah2 lagi, papan petunjuk juga jelas! POIN Plus pertama buat Incheon airport.

Dalem bangettt maknanya, meski gw ga baca satu-satu :p

Masih banyak yang perlu dieksplor, not only Seoul. ^^

Salam,Wara.

Cheonggyecheon Stream, Free Foot Spa

First time I learned the map of Seoul before my travel, I read something strange in some river, example between Dongdaemun and Gwanjang market. Those two are on my itinerary and I plan to walk through the "Cheonggyecheon Stream" What kind of stream is that? Some says it's "Free Foot Spa" Haaaaaaaaaaa......jukgetdaaaaaaaa ^____^ Which other country have free foot spa for everyone? :D

I never imagine have such folliage in a big city such as Seoul. Seeing greenery like in the forest in the middle of crowded and packed city give relax atmosphere especially after spending whole day walking. Look at the photos below:

I imagine like heaven in the earth to enjoy free foot spa after shopping whole day, LOL. Chillaxing treat for our feet after a long day tour around South Koreaaaaa. Relaxing, eating snacks while watching modern building and people busy walking in a breeze atmosphere I feel I can spend hours there. Look at those clean water flow.

Sometimes in November there are Lantern Festival in Cheonggyecheon Stream. Make sure you check the date before you visit ^^
Night view also wonderful:

These video below are my dreams...If I come to Seoul in spring or autumn will be awesome!!! Some locals also enjoy the free foot spa.

Buttt, since I come to Seoul in winter....all I can see is snow and cold water! I dare not to open my shoes enjoy free foot spa, everyone will think I'm crazy girl -___- My dream was broken, huhuhuuuuuuu. Just taking this pic. I'm standing in the bridge after walking from Doosan Tower, walk along pyeongchang market, the right side is Pyeongchang market, and the right side is Gwanjang market, where I bought my dinner there :)

If you plan to visit Seoul in spring or autumn, make sure to enjoy free foot spa there. More info about Cheonggyecheon Stream: HERE
