Jjimjilbang, Korean Sauna

For those wo had read my journey to the Seoul, must have known that my highlight in Seoul is Jjimjilbang. Did I mention before? :p

For those who search for cheap hotel, with good facility you can try this. Really guys, this is better than a 5 star hotel!! You can get a hot bath, massages, watch tv, eat, sleep, and spa!

There are some jjimjilbang that I browsed in internet before I go. It mentioned some in Hongdae area, but it hard for foreigner like me to find!! All letters are in Hangul. These two jjimjilbang is my recommendation for foreigners to enjoy because they have English translation in their name, and not so hard to find. Here you go:

1. SILOAM

You can go to their website here. Have English and Japanese page, thanks God! 

But u must read carefully how to go there!! I ask everyone, nobody knows, until I ask someone in Lotte Outlets. It takes me 10 minutes to go there and there asking everyone -____-

How to get there by subway:  Seoul Station (exit 1) After exit at Exit 1, U will easily find : LOTTE OUTLET. It located besides the Seoul Station and it so BIG. U won't miss. DOnt' worry.

Here is the tricky part. Go to the back side of Lotte Outlet!
Yeah, this is the view when I go backside, noone there and so empty hall, but walk through untill u find road behind Lotte Outlet.

From that road, u go down the stairs, then accross the road, there u will find!

Well yeah, I feel happy to see the dog in front of the sauna, it seems welcome me :p

For those who wonder: YES, Jimjjilbang have WIFI :D even in sleeping room. If not so bored la :p

First to DO:

1. Go to reception, PAY. Rate: 13.000won at night, 10.000 won at day. In receptionist and every floor you can find easily the direction of every floor use English. Don't worry.

2. They will bring you uniform, towel, and locker key. Go to MALE/ FEMALE room, by gender.

3. Search your locker number, then put your belonging there, put off your clothes. ALL of them!! Don't worry, everyone naked separated by gender.

4. Go to shower room, Don't forget bring ur own shampoo and soap. Shower there, then wear ur uniform.

5. Nah after wear ur uniform you can be free go everywhere! There are 5 floor of amazingness. Also provide elevator. Around 15 rooms with different floor and temperature vary from -20 degree to 65 degree celcius. I tried charcoal room, salt room, jade room, yellow earth room, and  more except ice room. Besides that, Siloam also have fitness center, massage room, yoga, beauty salon and even shoe repair. 

6. You can buy food too. MUST TRY: Patbingsu and smoked egg. All Korean eat them after jimjjilbang.

7. If you want to sleep, they also provide sleeping room separated by gender. I quickly scanned the jjimjilbang for some nice place to sleep and found quite a few nooks and rooms that would have been well-suited, but figured. First of all, cell phones must not be used (or at least activate silent mode) in the sleeping rooms and there's also a "Snorer's room," to minimize disruption to other sleepers! The men's and women's sleeping rooms have 400 and over 300 beds respectively. You'll never have some ajumma's arm flop over you in this place! Each bed is separated by at least a low railing and some have a small wall between them. There are lower and upper bunks each made up with a really thick sleeping pad, pillow, and pile of blankets. Some upper bunks even have curtains for full privacy. Plus the rooms are slightly air-conditioned, humidified, purified, and all the other -ieds you could dream of. It's bliss. I had the best jjimjilbang sleep of my life here.

PS: U can bring your big luggage and put near the receptionist inside, they provide number for your luggage too. And your luggage will find their friends there :p 

2. DRAGON HILL SPA

This is my second option. More popular than Siloam for foreigners, but I want to feel more "LOCAL" experience with local atmosphere, so I choose Siloam.

Rate is similar like Siloam:

*Daytime (05:00-20:00) - Adults 10,000 won / Children 6,000 won

*Nighttime (20:00-05:00) - Adults 12,000 won / Children 6,000 won

*Weekends & holidays - Adults 12,000 won / Children 6,000 won

Note: Even you come at 18.00 if you bring your luggage, they will charge you "night" rate. They know u will sleep inside. LOL

Direction:

Yongsan Station (Exit 1)

Go towards My Wedding Hall Buffet (마이웨딩홀부페). This building is big, u won't missed it.

The sauna is located next to the buffet.

The plus side from Dragon Hill is that they have some cute statue and architectural thing that good for taking pictures :D

Next time If I go Seoul again, I will surely go Dragon Hill Spa!

Well, if u planned to go to Seoul, a really must-visit place when you come to Korea is definitely Jjimjilbang(찜질방)! Enjoy relaxation in the sauna in Jjimjilbang and relieve stress! U will have the best sleep ever after sauna!

Korean Drama I watch

I suddenly realise that my world surrounded by Korea. All my skincare products now are Korean brand, music I listen also K-Pop, and drama I watch are K-drama. SHOCKING !! I'm not a young teenager but still love Korea so much. And peek at my wardrobe also influenced by Korean fashion, hahahaaa. Now this post is about K-drama I love to watch OVER and OVER again!!!: 

1. Athena: The Goddess of War 

This is action movie with background story similar to IRIS, between South Korea and North Korea but the plot and the character of Athena is deeper.

I love Lee Jung-woo from the first sight =DDDD starred by Jung Woo Sung

Feel pity for Lee Ji Ah, NTS agent, Woo Sung ex girlfriend, but she still love him till the end of her life T___T

Woo Sung falling in love with the enemy group Lee Soo Ae that was a spy in NTS.

I don't like Soo Ae in this story....because I think Woo Sung should be with Lee Ji Ah :p

Even have romantic part, the action part also very thrilling and amusing for guys too.

Score: 9/10

2.Bad Couple

Everyone whom I recommend this drama always says:" Since when u like romantic drama?????"

Well I don't like romantic drama like Endless Love, Princess Hour, Boys Before Flower. All too cheesy for me and shallow in story for me. Life is not all about love.Period

But "Bad Couple" is total a different story. Main actress is Dang Ja, a successful editor of a fashion magazine that don't want to get married because her parents was divorced.

Even she don't want to get married, she want to have a daughter!!!

So she looking for the best "GEN" from a guy that will be the "father" just for one night stand, then after that she will leave the "guy"

That's the funny part to search the "perfect" guy, and how she is hard trying to catch his attention, and how Choi Gi-Chan-the"perfect guy", a proffessor od biology always refused her. He also never fall in love to a girl.

The story is very funny, romantic, but not cheesy. That is the definition for romantic for me. Finally they got married and have two children. Happy for them!

I really love the story, and watch this drama for second time with my friend :p

Score: 9/10

3. A Gentleman's Dignity

This is my latest drama I watch about the careers and love lives of urban professionals. It tells the story of four men in their forties who have been friends since they were eighteen, as they go through love, breakup, success and failure. 

Kim Do-jin is a confident playboy who meets Seo Yi-soo and falls for her. To his surprise, she doesn't give him the time of day and he discovers that she has a crush on his best friend Im Tae-san. He begins a onesided love for the first time in his life and tries to win her heart.

Im Tae-san is dating Yi-soo's roommate, Hong Se-ra, but troubles arise when Yi-soo's crush is revealed and when Se-ra tells him she doesn't want to get married.

Choi Yoon is a lawyer who is still recovering from his wife's death four years ago but begins to have feelings for Tae-sans much younger sister, Im Meahri. Meahri has always had a crush on Yoon however he refuses to give into his feelings and jeopardize his friendship with Tae-san.

Lee Jung-rok is married to a rich woman, Park Min-sook, but constantly flirts with other women which causes problems and trust issues in their marriage.

Meanwhile a teenager named Colin comes to Korea looking for the four men and claims one of them is his biological father.

Score:8/10

Well that's all K-drama I like to watch over and over again.

All of them have : funny part, sad part, happy part, romantic part, serious part.

Well I love K-drama that starred with many people, so the main actor is not only one couple, see story from many people more interesting!!!!!

Not expensive for a cream that function as skin care and make up in one with 32SPF, 

whitening, and anti wrinkle effect.

It is said that it can help improve dead skin cell, increase the level of the bright skin cell. 

Its ingredients are all herbal so I feel safe to use Rivecowe CC Cream.

The texture is fluid with yellow-ish color. Strange at first!!

But later after blend it become good and look at the difference with my finger!

I try to use without powder, but feels sticky, so covering with face powder better :D

It smells really nice! It has a sweet floral scent, but it also kind of reminds of Lychee! Although it is kind of strong, so it may not be suitable for some.

 Since it's a gel-type moisturizer, it's  cooling and refreshing on the skin, but also quite moisturizing. The consistency is thicker than what I would have imagined but it doesn't leave and sticky residue behind at all! It goes on very smooth and leaves my skin feeling very smooth too, as if I adds a protective covering over it, but not heavy. I used this after I washed my face and it feel absolutely wonderful! Hydrating, not sticky, light, and smells great! :D  I like it for it's gel-like texture and cooling sensation.

Will I purchase the Full Product?

Yes! It has all the properties of a great moisturizer (for me at least). And I pick gel type moisturizers over cream ones in general, so I would want to purchase this once I've ran out of my current one. The relatively cheap price is a huge plus too!

SKIN 79 RED GINSENG REPAIRING MASK

This is instant moisturiser that contains red ginseng. Red ginseng is world best-ginseng! It detoxifies poisons and treats inflammation. Non-saponin components of Korean red ginseng suppressed the harmful effects of free oxygen radicals (O, H2O2, OH-, 1O2) which exercise an important role in tissue degeneration. So it is said that this mask is good for anti stress and improves blood circulations.

My comparation with another sheet mask I used before...... I love the scent. Another thing is same like any other sheet mask, gives 20minutes rejuvenating skin.

Yang iklannya di Korea ini bikin terharu deh ^_^ Keren banget yak yang terakhirnya O-Touch Panelnya, jadi ga perlu geser-geser layar, geser belakangnya aja, udah bisa ganti gambar. Ini juga yang memudahkan kita untuk baca berita ato baca peta pas lagi di MRT. WOW!!!

Chocolate and Weight Gain

My weight is now 47kg from 40kg!! I'm so happy even my hands are still too small to wear a bracelet :( 

Well after that I eat so much and keep in my mind to say "I'm very hungry!!!" even If I'm full. Eating can be like a torture for me....sometimes got nice food but most of the time is usual home food. Hahahaa!! Cooking also make home food. Trying new recipe?

I tried these food recipe:
